Michael Greco
City of Bay Village
City Council
"If you are worried that guns have taken priority over our children, Monique will fight to change that. If you know someone that has had their rights taken away from them recently, Monique will fight legislatively to reinstate them. If you want a state representative who understands that sewers, streets, sidewalks, and safety are the main concerns of our neighborhoods, send Monique back to the statehouse. She has done so much for our community and Monique deserves another term to serve our district. I trust State Rep. Monique Smith and she has my full endorsement."

Amy Green Havelka

It’s wonderful to see her at events in our area always chatting with constituents and engaging in our communities. We need her down in Columbus representing us in District 16. Monique has my full support."

Mary K. Brown

"When I met Monique, I loved her energy and commitment to the people she represents. We need more women in politics as they add a level of spirit and energy that is much needed from our representatives. This is the kind of true representation Bereans are looking for, and this is why I fully endorse Representative Monique Smith."

Erika Coble
City of Berea
City Council
I met Monique in Berea as she was introducing herself to the area neighbors in her campaign for the upcoming democratic primary. Not long afterward, I ran into her again at local community meeting, at our Fourth of July parade, and then at an outreach event at a local restaurant in Berea. We discussed her goals as our representative for Berea at the Statehouse, and I believe she will be an advocate for the unique needs we face in our local community by being in touch with us at the local level. I know she will be an advocate for helping to maintain the health and character of our tight-knit community, and she supports improving a safe, and excellent public school system. As a local council person, myself, I know the work it takes to support the work in the community. I believe Monique will not only be our advocate in the Statehouse, but she’ll put in the time and effort required to achieve those goals.

Scott Schulz, Ph.D.
Vice President,
Bay Village City Schools Board of Education
"Monique is someone who genuinely cares for the people she represents while working in Columbus. Not only has she lived in her district for several years, she has continued to stay involved. Despite a demanding schedule, Monique shows up for small, but meaningful community events such as the opening of the Bay library and the tree-planting ceremony in honor of Bay High School's 100th anniversary. These are the everyday experiences that mean something to the people living in Ohio's 16th district, and thus they are important to Monique. I wholeheartedly trust Monique and appreciate her ongoing effort to bring common sense to Columbus, a place that badly needs it."

Dr. Andrey Stojic

"I am proud to support Monique Smith as our State Representative for Ohio House District 16. She is a legislator that leads with kindness, compassion, and competence. Monique has been a strong voice for public education at the State House. As a school board member, I appreciate her advocacy on our behalf. She understands the importance of investing in our children’s education. She will continue to fight to ensure our children get the resources they need to get a first-class education which is essential to our long term economic and civic growth as a community and as a State. She listens to her constituents and works to put our values into action. In these times, our district needs strong representation, and Monique Smith is that person. I urge everyone to support Monique Smith for State Representative in the primaries and to victory in the fall."
